Organisation training and consultancy FAQs

Does each attendee need their own device?
2
3

Ideally, yes. Individual access helps participants use features like the chat function more easily. However, we understand that’s not always possible. If participants are attending in small groups, we suggest nominating one person to type or ask questions on the group’s behalf.

Can we record the session for our website or internal use?
2
3

We’re really sorry, but recordings aren’t permitted without prior permission. We appreciate your understanding. If you would like to explore recording options for your session please contact us to discuss.

Can I share a course recording with my school or colleagues?
2
3

Course recordings are for the ticket purchaser only. We know this may be disappointing, but sharing access beyond the purchaser reduces our ability to continue offering support to the wider community.

What’s the difference between “PDA for Educators” and “Working with and supporting PDA children (Education)”?
2
3

“PDA for Educators” is more in-depth and includes opportunities for discussion, so it’s best for schools already supporting PDA learners. “Working with and supporting PDA children (Education)” offers an introduction to PDA and is ideal if awareness is just beginning to grow in your setting.

Can I get a tax receipt or reclaim VAT?
2
3

As a small charity, we do not charge VAT on training courses, so tax receipts are not applicable.

We’re not based in the UK can we still book training?
2
3

Yes, we offer online training for organisations outside the UK. Sessions are delivered in English during GMT/BST hours (typically between 9am–9pm UK time), and payment must be made in GBP. While content is based on UK practices, we welcome international attendees.

How long are training sessions and how many people can attend?
2
3

The duration of each course is available on our organisation training page. For organisation bookings, we usually work with group sizes of up to 50 people to allow space for questions and discussion. Larger groups can be accommodated, please get in touch to discuss options.

Can we request a tailored training session?
2
3

Yes, we regularly adapt our sessions to meet specific needs or focus areas (e.g. education, health, social care). Please contact us to explore what’s possible within your budget and timeframe.

Is the training CPD accredited?
2
3

Some of our courses are CPD accredited, please check the course description or get in touch if you need confirmation for a specific session.

Will we receive a certificate?
2
3

CPD courses offer CPD certification for every attendee. We do not offer attendance certificates for non CPD courses.

Will the session be recorded so people can watch later?
2
3

Our training is designed to be live and interactive, so we do not offer recordings without prior discussion. Please contact us to discuss recording options and costs.

Will we receive a copy of the slides?
2
3

We provide a black and white version of our slides in notes format to support note taking during the session. Our training is designed to be delivered live and full copies of courses are not as helpful outside of a live session. You can find more information and support on our website.
