Using the Training Hub
This quick guide will help you explore, access, and enjoy your learning at your own pace.
Getting Started
You can purchase courses individually or access a wider range of content by becoming a subscriber.
We offer three subscription types:
-
Free Subscription – access a selection of free content, including two podcast episodes each month.
-
Personal Subscription – for parents, carers and individuals who want to learn more about PDA.
-
Professional Subscription – for people working in education, health or social care, with additional professional content.
You can choose a monthly or annual plan — annual subscriptions offer the best value and uninterrupted access for a full year.
Accessing your account
You can log in from the top menu bar at any time by selecting the person symbol, when purchasing a product or subscription or from our homepage. If you do not have an account you can register here as well.
All courses, modules and resources you’ve purchased or subscribed to will appear under My Courses.
If you’ve purchased products individually, or you are a subscriber, you can also access them via Browse Learning by selecting Go to Course on the product page.
Browsing and finding content
Use Browse Learning or the Search bar to explore our full library of e-learning content.
Browse Learning includes all our interactive modules, webinars, Q&A recordings, and podcasts in one place.
Live training sessions can be accessed directly from the menu bar or homepage.
If you’re part of a school, organisation, or service, you can visit our Organisations page — available from the homepage or main menu — to explore options for group training and consultancy.
If a product is part of your subscription or one you’ve purchased, you’ll see Go to Course.
If you’re not subscribed or haven’t purchased a product, you’ll see the price with the option to buy or explore subscriptions.
Podcasts
Podcasts are available for monthly and annual subscribers, with two episodes each month available for free subscribers and weekly episodes for our paid subscribers.
If a podcast is included in your plan, you’ll see Go to Course.
If not, you’ll have the option to Explore Subscriptions to unlock full access.
Starting a Course or Module
Video content can be viewed within the course window or opened full screen for easier viewing.
Interactive modules open in a new window for the best learning experience. These provide the best experience on a desktop, however they can also be viewed using mobile or other devices.
You can return to the Training Hub anytime by selecting ‘Exit Course’ in the top right corner.
Live Training Courses
Once you’ve purchased a live training course, it will appear in your Dashboard under My Courses.
Zoom links and any course resources (such as slides or handouts) will be available as a new lesson within the course within 7 days of the first live session.
If your course includes more than one live session, the same Zoom link will be used for all sessions.
Recordings of live sessions (where available) will be added to your course within 7 days of the final session and will remain accessible for 14 days. After this time, access to the recording and downloads will no longer be available.
Please note: not all live sessions include recordings, so please check your course information for details.
