School can feel impossible for many PDAers — and this two-part audio resource combines lived experience with practical support to help families and professionals navigate challenges and explore alternatives.

In Part 1, we explore what helps when school feels impossible for PDAers, including understanding emotional safety, reducing pressure in learning environments, and ways to make day-to-day education more accessible and supportive.

Part 2 focuses on EOTAS (Education Otherwise Than at School) — what it is, how it works in practice, and how families can consider, approach and plan for education outside traditional school settings when mainstream options aren’t meeting the needs of a PDAer.

Created by the PDA Society with contributions from people with lived experience and professionals in the field.
