Join us for an honest, lived-experience conversation with Paula Webb, a parent and advocate sharing her journey of parenting PDA-profile children into adulthood — including the challenges, the unmet needs and the resilience that grows out of adversity.

In Part 1, Paula reflects on early life, the experience of repeated systems failures and the emotional labour of advocating for support within education, health and care. Her story sheds light on how lack of understanding and inadequate services impact families over time.

Part 2 continues the conversation with deeper insight into adulthood transitions, intersections with mental health, navigating social and support networks, and what genuinely meaningful — rather than tokenistic — support looks like for PDA adults and parents alike.

Created by the PDA Society with contributions from people with lived experience and experts in the field.
