Overview

Find connection, understanding and reassurance from people who truly ‘get it’.

Parenting or caring for someone with a PDA profile can sometimes feel isolating — especially when those around you may not fully understand your daily experiences. This support session is free to everyone, and offers a safe and welcoming space to share experiences, ask questions and connect with others who understand demand avoidance first-hand.

The session will be led by trained facilitators with lived experience of PDA, providing emotional support and practical guidance in a non-judgemental environment. You are welcome to participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable — simply listening is just as valued as speaking.

This session is ideal for:

  • Parents and carers of PDA children or young people
  • Anyone wishing to connect with others in similar situations
  • Individuals seeking reassurance, confidence and a sense of community

What to expect:

  • An online group session hosted via Zoom
  • Supportive discussion and shared approaches
  • Signposting to helpful PDA Society resources
  • A confidential, understanding environment

Availability: This session is free and exclusive to our monthly & annual subscribers.
