Join our conversation as we explore preparation, expectation and lived experience around the festive season when you’re supporting a PDAer. This podcast series blends personal reflections, practical ideas and gentle strategies to help manage sensory demands, surprise triggers and emotional intensity during Christmas.
In Part 1, we focus on preparing in advance: thinking about routines, communication, expectations, sensory adjustments and proactive planning that can reduce pressure long before the holidays arrive.
Part 2 takes these ideas further, covering real-time support during the festive period: coping with social and family situations, handling changes in routine, managing anxiety and overwhelm, and nurturing connection and wellbeing amidst the hustle.
