Training Hub Terms and Conditions

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the rules for using our Training Hub, including subscription services, courses, resources, and any related content provided by the PDA Society (“we,” “us,” “our”).

By registering for or accessing the Training Hub, you agree to these Terms.

Who we are

The PDA Society is a UK-registered charity (charity number: 1165038). Our mission is to make life easier for PDAers, their families, and professionals by improving understanding and support.

Using the Training Hub

  • The Training Hub is designed to provide information, training, and resources to help people understand PDA and demand avoidance.
  • Access is granted for your personal use only. You may not share your login details with others.
  • You agree not to copy, distribute, or resell Training Hub content without our written permission.

Subscriptions and payments

  • Some Training Hub content requires a paid subscription. The price, billing period, and payment method will be shown before you subscribe.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

Personal and professional subscriptions

  • Personal subscriptions are for individual use only, intended for parents, carers, and family members accessing content for personal learning and support.
  • Professional subscriptions are required if you are accessing content in a work-related capacity, including education, healthcare, social care, or other professional roles. Professional subscriptions provide access to training and resources designed for professional use.
  • You must not use a personal subscription to access professional content, or to deliver training or support in a professional context.

Course access

    • When you enrol in a course, you are granted access for the time period stated at the point of purchase.
    • We may update, improve, or replace content to ensure accuracy and quality.
    • We reserve the right to withdraw courses or products that are out of date

    Our responsibilities

    • We aim to ensure that the Training Hub is available, accurate, and accessible.
    • We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may suspend the Hub for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues.
    • Training Hub content is for learning and support purposes. It is not medical, legal, or professional advice.

    Your responsibilities

When using the Training Hub, you agree to:

    • Use the service in a respectful way that aligns with our values of empathy, inclusion, and honesty.
    • Not post or share content that is harmful, discriminatory, or unlawful.
    • Keep your account details secure.

Intellectual property and use of content

All content on the Training Hub, including text, graphics, videos, and resources, belongs to the PDA Society (or our partners). Access is licensed to you for your individual use only.

    • You may view, download, and use the content for your own personal learning and development.
    • You must not copy, distribute, or share Training Hub content in any way that allows others to use it without a valid subscription.
    • All resources and materials shared during any live training event are © PDA Society. They are provided for the personal use of attendees only and must not be copied, shared, or distributed outside of the session, nor used to deliver training without prior written permission from the PDA Society.
    • Content must not be used to create, deliver, or share training, workshops, presentations, or group sessions, whether in person or online.
    • Personal subscriptions are for parents, carers, and family members using the Hub for their own learning. If you require access in a work-related capacity, you must hold a Professional subscription, which provides access to content designed for professional use.
    • You must not use a personal subscription to access professional content or to deliver training in a professional setting.

If you would like to use our content with groups of people or as part of professional training, please contact us at training.support@pdasociety.org.uk to discuss group or organisational training options.
